Receipt Formats

This window allows you to select the receipt formats that suit your organisation various payment types.

How to select receipt formats

To select receipt formats you go to System/Configuration/Receipts and click on the Receipt Formats tab. A screen like one below appears:

• Note that some organisation would prefer special receipt formats for their transactions. Crystal Clear software company will do this at a fee. And this format will also appear among the receipt formats above.

• Payment Type: These payments are for the Loan Performer automated transactions such as: entry of Membership fees,Buying/Selling of Shares, Savings Deposits and Withdrawals, Opening Time-Deposits andWithdrawals, Loan Commissions, Disbursements, Repayments, Debtors/Creditors and Cash Payments/Receipts, Savings Transfer (client to client) and  Savings Transfer (Single client)
• Receipt Name: For every type of payment you can choose one of the suggested Receipt Names. Just click on the drop-down box and highlight the appropriate name.
• Mode of Payment: For each format you can choose the payment modes for which the receipts will be printed. For example, you would want them only for cash payments and cheque payments. Just mark the appropriate active (not grayed out) boxes according to the -+Legend displayed at the bottom of the screen i.e. 1 represents "cash payments", box 2 - "cheque payments", box 3 - "Savings Transfer", box 4 - GL/Bank transfers. The inactive (gray) boxes are the modes of payment not supported for particular payment types.
• Print member receipts?: If savings are tracked at group member level (see System/Configuration/Savings), you can activate printing of group member's receipts for savings deposits and withdrawals by clicking on the Yes radio button under Print members receipts? two types of receipts will be printed:

A general group receipt with the amount deposited or withdrawn like one below:

And one that shows the respective transaction of the group members like one below:

• List?: Tick "Yes" for the system to generate an extra receipt that details the transaction information of the first two receipts as seen below:
